Description |
High-power pulse amplifier tetrode for radar modulators: 25 kV, 2 MW peak power.
The design used the large bulb of the 701A and inside the four in-line cathodes of the 5D21. Cathodes were more spaced and two separate control and screen grid pairs encompassed each a couple of cathodes. This structure granted higher voltage handling capability and better grid dissipation.
No production reported.
