Description |
STC equivalent for WE 316A UHF transmitting triode. Door-knob shaped all-glass envelope, 4-pin special base.
30W plate power dissipation, 8.5W power output at 300MHz, 4W at 600MHz. Capable of operation up to 750MHz.
From June 1941 giant acorns as the 4316A were entered in the 'black list' for new designs by the Inter.Service Technical Valve Committee. (Callick, Matres to Micrwaves)
