Description |
Page 671 of the Fall 1928 Sears Roebuck catalog announces a new catalog number series for radio tubes, 46XX and the newly listed 4620 is equivalent to the UX280 full wave rectifier. The company sold the standard range of US designed and made tubes and these were made by a few small manufacturers. The "WLS" (Worlds Largest Store) brand was either hot branded onto the base of the tube or a paper label on the glass. The 4620 was also listed in the Spring 1929 catalog. The Fall 1912 catalog has an entirely new catalog number and the 4620 became the 57T280.
