Description |
Page 671 of the Fall 1928 issue of the Sears Roebuck catalog lists the 4621 as equivalent to the BH cold cathode rectifier tube which was used in battery eliminators for radio receivers. It handles high peak currents of 80 to 90 ma (up to 125 ma with a maximum peak plate current of 400 volts) output - but needs proper elimination of RF noise by proper shielding and filtering. The BH was made by the Raytheon Manufacturing Co of Cambridge, Massachusetts. The tube is also listed on page 711 of the Spring 1929 catalog.
