Description |
Page 671 of the Fall 1928 issue of the Sears Roebuck catalog announces the 4630 which is equivalent to the UX226. The company sold the standard range of US designed and made tubes and these were made by a few small manufacturers. The "WLS" (Worlds Largest Store) brand was eityher hot branded on the base of the tubes or a paper label on the glass. The Fall 1929 catalog has an entirely new catalog number and the 4630 became the 57T226.
