Description |
Power grid tube with special 9 pin base.
Pa <250W, Va <2000. Audio and RF use up to 500 MHz. This was the most sold transmitting tube because it was cheap. It was used in the WW2 up to about 1980 and production was fully automatic (carousel) - material in - tube out! (EE: Information from Mr. Ackeret, Varian)
