Description |
Power triode used either as VHF oscillator or as radar pulse modulator. Thoriated tungsten filamentary cathode.
- 300 W plate dissipation
- 20 kV plate voltage
- 100 A peak filament emission
Four tubes in AN/TPS-18 gave 1MW RF at 210-225MHz. As modulator, one single tube could switch 30KV at 60A.
