| Description |
External anode water-cooled RF power triode. Pure tungsten, stress-free cathode. 20KW anode power dissipation. The tube rugged design made it ideal for industrial heating, but it could be used as amplifier or oscillator. Operating frequencies up to 5MHz at full ratings and up to 20MHz at reduced anode voltage. 5668 was made by several US manufacturers, including Federal, Machlett, Sylvania and Westinghouse.
