Description |
Dual balanced amplifier: single cathode and space charge grid, dual control grid and anode; thoriated tungsten filament cathode. The tube was intended as electrometer amplifier working in a Wheatstone bridge circuit, given in the data sheet.
Typical operating values:
- 6 V anode voltage
- 20 uA anode current
- 5 V space grid voltage
- -3.5 V control grid voltage
- 5 x 10exp-15 A grid current
- 1.2 amplification factor
5764 is quite similar to 5760 / FP54 with higher electrode assembly and approximately doubled electrode surface
