Description |
Water-cooled VHF power triode. Integral jacket to provide both water and forced-air for cooling, giving 75KW anode power dissipation. Self-contained zirconium getter, requiring 8.5A. The tube is intended for high-power AM, FM and TV transmitters, as well as for particle accelerators and industrial heating. 50KW output at frequencies up to 110MHz, 150KW output at 30MHz. 5681 was made by several US manufacturers, including Machlett and Sylvania.
