| Description |
The Arcturus metal/glass type 56 tube is unusual as it employs a glass disc instead of a conventional "pinch" for introducing the lead-in wires into the glass bulb. The disc has the wires in a circular formation. The base is octal but an adaptor was sold to enable it to fit into a normal UY5 pin tube socket.The adaptor measures 37 mm long, including pins, and is 30 mm diameter
