Description |
This tube is listed on page 762 of the Fall 1929 issue of the Sears Roebuck catalog, along with a range of Silvertone receiving tubes. It is a half wave argon filled battery charger rectifier type suitable for use with alarm and clock systems. It was also used in radio for charging small accumulators. The charging rate is 2 amps. It has a maximum DC output of 75 volts. Usual mounting of the tube is in a green painted iron box with external battery lead connections. The anode of this tube is the skirted part of the base and is insulated from the screw thread. the 57T5303 is identical except for the wire lead for the anode.
