Description |
Beam switching tube designed to operate as wide-band noise generator. The tube retains only two spade/target systems, other pairs being replaced by anode elements. Spades are doubled, with forming spades, biased at -6V, and leading spades biased positive to release the beam. Anode supply voltage is set for cut-off operation, while biasing of spades and targets is set to prevent stable states. Target voltage 125V through 50 ohms load resistor; anode voltage 125V, spade voltage -100V Min noise 95dB above 1uV/1MHz from 150KHz to 30MHz.
