Description |
Storage tube / scan converter. The tube has two indipendent electron guns and electrode systems, one for writing and one for reading. The writing section goes to one octal base, the reading one has a 14-pin diheptal base. The two electron beams are driven by two different deflection coil systems that could operate to different standards.
6896 is the JEDEC registration code for RCA proprietary 1855.
