Description |
The tube "Union 6B6" shown in the picture seems to be a fake, as a 6Q7GT was simply overstamped. As well the suffix "GT", which is applicable for this design, was omitted.
According to the nomenclature, an octal tube 6B6 without a suffix as -G, -GT, etc. would presume a metal version of this tube, which apparently does not exist, just see under 6B6G or 6B6M.
