							| Description | The difference between EABC80 / 6AK8, both from 1952, and 6T8: The EABC80 / 6AK8 has a better shielding between heater and the other electrodes, particularly to the triode control grid, in order to suppress hum. Otherwise, they are interchangeable with each other. Just Qvigstad: Since the RCA Tube Reference Book is a calendar book with one page for each week of the year, the 1949 edition must have already been printed and in sale in the latter part of the year before (1948). In addition to the notebook for all days of the year, it contains a list of RCAs' tubes with socket connections, US broadcast stations, maps, and other technical data. According to “Tube Lore” page 28 was the final registration for 6T8 May 20th, 1947. The tube can therefore have been on the market or for development of new radios in the second half of 1947.

 | 3 Dear Ernst,    I would like to satisfy his request, in fact he would have a lot of taste in doing the upload of the tube for Rmorg, but it happens that I neither have the picture nor the respective tube. It can be that later manages to do it.   Best regards from, Júlio Branco

Dear Júlio OK, but the 6AK8 is just missing the schematic you published here (above).
 Can you put it up?
 Thank you.

You reach this tube or valve page from a search
after clicking the "tubes" tab or by clicking a tube
on a radio model page. You will find thousands
of tubes or valves with interesting links. You
even can look up radio models with a certain tube
line up.
