Description |
Power tetrode intended as radar modulator to drive the 700A to D magnetron family. Glass bulb, reduced height WE 357A, containing four electrode sets of 350A, with common molibdenum anode; gold plated control and screen grids. Four pin base. 12.5KV, 10A pulse, 100W average plate power.
Two 701As in parallel were used to generate 12 ampere pulses at 10 kV, 4 µs wide, 1600 pps
