Ten-stage, head-on, flat-faceplate type having S-1 response. Wavelength of maximum spectral response is 8000 +/- 1000 angstroms. Makes use of silver-magnesium dynodes and a flat-circular, silver-oxygen-cesium, semi-transparent photocathode. (May also be ordered with copper-beryllium dynodes). Window material is Corning No. 0080 lime glass or equivalent. Has a non-hygroscopic base.
