Beschreibung

Pulse amplifier tetrode for airborne radar modulators: 14KV, 10A peak. Derived from 701A, moving the four cathodes side by side, inside a single electrode structure; gold-plated grids, Mo-Zr plate. Top and bottom radiating fins on the vertical rods supporting both grids. Heaters, designed to operate directly from the 24 V aircraft storage battery, were specified for supply voltage between 22 and 28.5 volts.
4-pin base, jumbo-like, from a notched ceramic wafer.
