Description |

Four-inch display and storage CRT intended for use in radar, sonar or oscillographic applications. It was designed to offer bright, stable and non-flickering display of stored images in high ambient light.
Two electron guns, one for writing and one for flooding or refreshing the stored image. Single magnetic deflection and electrostatic focus for writing gun.
RCA, first registered in 1958, release 2197. ‘A’ suffix, with improved collimator system, was registered in 1967, release 5568.
