Description |
The Arcturus metal/glass "Coronet" 75 type tube is unusual in that it employs a glass disc instead of a conventional "pinch" for introducing the lead-in wires into the glass bulb. The disc has the wires in a circular formation. The base is octal but an adaptor was sold with the tube to enable it to fit the normal U6A 6 pin tube socket. Thev adaptor measures 37 mm long, including pins, and is 30 mm diameter.
