Description |
One of the early transmitting triodes capable of operation in the VHF range. Thoriated-tungsten filament.

- 60 MHz full ratings
A couple of 800s was used in the transmitter of the first experimental radio-localization set designed by Ugo Tiberio in 1936. The FM transmitter generated 100 W output at 200 MHz.
First introduced by RCA in October 1933.
