Description |
This tube described in Tube Lore II, p. 124 as " "Terminal board" 807 made to British specifications (RCA ) {A4051G} . aka British VT60. Classified "Confidential" as of 1941; withdrawn 1945. Inventory of 8000 tubes was re-etched "807" and sold commercially.'
The 8018 is basically an 807 but rated for operation to 120MHz.
Exact base type unknown but understood to be wires (?).
