Description |
This tube has both type numbers 866A/866 and was developed by RCA in 1941. Dual type numbers were shown on at least five other known brands The tube was claimed to give high perveance of the 866 and the high PIV of the 866A. The type number was reverted by RCA to 866A in 1947.
