High-voltage mercury-vapor rectifier
Work started on the development of this tube at the RCA laboratories in the summer of 1932. The type number was assigned to it early in 1933 and it was announced in April, 1933. Registered on September 24, 1943. Shielded element structure. T-18 bulb, medium cap (JETEC C1-5) and Jumbo 4-pin bayonet base, JETEC A4-29.
- 4.75 to 5.25 V filament voltage
- 7.5 A filament average current, 8 A max
- 30 s min heating time
- 10 kV max PIV at Tamb 20º to 60ºC, derated to 5 kV PIV at 70ºC
- 1.25 A average anode current, 5 A peak
