Description |
Allegedly the American designation of the PM84, mentioned in the German “Franzis Röhren-Taschen-Tabelle“ (Pocket tube table).
Following the nomenclature, however, the designation 9FG6 is wrong, as the PM84 has a heater voltage of 4.2 V. According to this heater voltage the correct American name of PM84 should read 4FG6.
However, the American Tube Registration List mentions neither a 9FG6 nor a 4FG6.
