Description |
Manufacturer's data states 0.45A for each of the three filaments.
See Tyne page 393: In 1926 Nelson Electric Co. Ltd. brought 4 different "Multivalves" to the market, designated A, DEA, DE2 and DE.06 (D.E.06. DE06). All of them have three filaments, controlled by a "scisors switch" at the bottom of the base. Any one of the three filaments could be used in case of an open heater. Opening the switch put two of the filaments in parallel, thus making it a power valve. The valves show two round labels on the glass side: a trade mark "Nelson Multi" with a picture of Lord Nelson. On the other side there is a label "Entirely British Manufactured" and in the center BBC. The banderole shows type and values of the heater.
