Description |
Disc Seal Triode proposed as wide-band UHF amplifier. The tube derived from ACT23 / CV288 developed by GEC in 1943 for CW and pulsed operation up to 600 MHz. data of two tubes are similar, with slightly higer transconductance for the ACT25.
- 1 kV DC anode voltage, 6 kV max pulse
- 6 A space current, 60 A peak emission
- 450 W power dissipation. Requires forced-air-cooling
- Pout 50W at 1GHz with Va=600, Ia=0.55A
