Description |
This tube was a spherical Audion type made by H. W. McCandless & Co for de Forest and was of the "double wing" type - _Audion_09-dbw. It differed from this in that the lead-in wires for the anode and grid pairs were not twisted together but were four separate wires. Otherwise the tube was the same. Page 68 of Tyne's Saga of the Vacuum Tube shows an illustration of tis tube - Fig.4-21
