Description |
This is a medium sized current regulator tube made by GE around 1940-45. It has an S17 straight conical shaped bulb and can be confused with light bulbs of this style. It is similar to the B3 and is possibly a replacement for it. It has a single "crimped" filament in an inverted "U" shape, held in place at the top by a sturdy anchor wire embedded in the press. Voltage range is 7 to 16 and the current in amps is 1.07 to 1.16.
