Hello,
C243N from 1934 it is wrong.
I have copy of original Philips service document for the 830B dated from 1932.
The reference to 1934 is linked to the change of codification made in 1934 by Philips, C means 200mA AC/DC type, the C243N is a 2V battery tube, following the previous codification.
