In line with the agreement RCA/GE had with E T Cunningham, work started on development of this tube at the GE laboratories in the spring of 1920 and the type number was assigned to it in November 1920. It was announced to the public in March 1921.
Output 5 Watts.
High-Vacuum Navy type amplifier.
