Description |
This tube is a successor to the CF-185, which was fitted with a Candleabra (E12) screw base, It was first made by de Forest in 1921. The base of this tube is nickel plated brass. As with the earlier tube, the grid is a fine wire wound on a glass frame. It has an oxidised tungsten filament and the anodes are sheet tungsten. The tube was rebased UV for the US Signal Corps.
