Description |
When first developed for the US Navy this tube had the old style Navy standard 3 pin base and was known as the CG886. Later the base was changed to the UV type base and given the CG890 type number. The tube was very useful in radio frequency amplifiers In transmitting, if an anode voltage of 750 was applied, The tube was capable of 10 watts output.
