Description |
CV36 was derived in June 1941 from NR89. The interaction gap was reduced in distance and in diameter, so to have a better coupling with the electron beam. Also the electron gun was redesigned to simplify the focus. The new design resulted fairly insensitive to variations in the electrode voltages. 300mW out power with about 10W input.
