Description |
S-band strapped magnetron. Same structure of CV56, with heavier radiator and requiring higher magnetic field to counteract the increased anode voltage.
Operating at 25KV, 40A, it was used Type 277 early warning radar since early 1943, the high-energy pulses being generated by a rotating spark-gap.
