Description |
This tube is similar to a 212D but has 23 grid turns (normal 212D = 39 grid turns). This was for lower mu and plate impedance. It was designed for high gain/high power carrier telephone repeaters but was also used "in experimental television apparatus to operste (the) neon tube".
