Disc Seal Conduction-cooled UHF tube for operation up to 1 GHz at 4W and up to 3GHz at reduced rating and useful to 3.7 GHz
"The DET was one of the earliest and smallest of the disc seal triodes ... the valve was near the ultimate in mechanical precision with anode-cathode gap of only 0.07mm with a tolerance of 0.002mm."
