Description |
This tube is a unique two filament type made around 1916-1918 and the paper label on the tube states that it was made by the Annaka Wireless Works of Tokyo. The element construction is far more practical than that used by US manufacturers of the time, such as Cunningham and Moorhead. A glass rod holds one end of the grid and hooks for the filament. The two filaments are in the form of a V and are connected in parallel to the grid. They are connected in series. The anode voltage, at 55, is considerably higher than that of most tubes made before World War One.
