Description |
The Amperex DX334 is a Neotron Tube featuring an integral water jacket and a maximum anode dissipation of 2000 watts. The Neotron Tube is Field Effect Tube using a magnet field and has no grid. This eleminates the problems normally encountered with gridded tubes. The tube is designed for use as a frequency amplifier or oscillator at frequencies up to 5 MHz. As a Class C amplifier or oscillator the DX334 will produce an aonde power output greater than 3 kW with an anode voltage of 5 kV and an anode input power of 4 kW.
