5-poliger Europasockel mit Zusatzstift, sogenannter U-Sockel. Diese Röhre gibt es in 4 Sockelvarianten. Nicht zu verwechseln mit der "normalen" 6-Stift-Röhre. Sehe auch: E453 on U base.pdf
Philips führt in Österreich ab September 1932 die E453 mit dem 5+1 Stiftsockel (O 35c) und den O 35b Sockel ist der mit 5 Stift + Seitenklemme.
