GEC experimental code for a four-segment split-anode magnetron made to a request from the British Admiralty for a UHF communication link.
Anode had 7 mm diameter, cathode was 0.7 mm, thoriated tungsten. Glass bulb.
An entire system was designed by GEC, with frequency-stabilizing cavity. 5 W output at 50 cm. Several systems built, according to W.E. Willshaw
