Description |
Car radio class-B push- pull twin output triode, launched 1938 by Telefunken.
Predecessors:~EL1, ~6Y7, successors :~ECL113, ~EL42, ~ELL80
The EDD11 achieves at low heater power and only 7 mA zero- signal plate-current and 40 mA at max-signal a comparatively high output power of 5.5 watts.
Requires -6,3V bias and 0.1 W input power from the driver tube EBC11. At its time it was the sole twin triode in Germany, hence it was also used for other purposes, e.g. as AF preamp.
