According to Tube Museum (http://www.roehren-museum.de/englisch/user/home.htm) the EF805S is a long life version of the EF85.

A number of databooks mentions the EF805S as long life version of the EF85. Although there are some differences in operating data and characteristics. Even the heater current is different, i.e. 285 vs. 300 mA.
