Description |
With ½ the output power of the EL3 (EL33, 6M6) the EL8 is used in smaller
radios, mostly in straight receivers with EF6 as
audion detector (& EF9 as RF stage) or in simple
supers with EF6 as audion detector and ECH4 as
frequency converter. Its suppressor "grid" consists of
only two rods and its plate is
elliptically.
