Description |
Backward Wave Oscillator, also known as BWO, capable of operation in the microwave region from 2 to 4 GHz. The French manufacturer CSF also refers to these devices as Carcinotron ‘O’ for the regressive movement of waves propagating along the delay line with respect to the electron beam.
- Output frequency tunable from 2 to 4 GHz
- A2 voltge from 200 V to 1400 V.
- A1 voltage 200 V max, usable for frequency modulation
- Output power from 120 mW minimum at 2 GHz to 750 mW at 4 GHz.
