This tube is a mercury vapour thyratron with an intermediate control characteristic. The tube is particularly designed for use in inverter circuits where a short deionization time is required. The tube is listed on page 48 of the "Story of Electronic Development at the General Electric Company". Dated Dec 10th, 1930
