Descripción The "Flas-O-Graph" is a Neon Indicator tube with two electodes which was replacing the "Shadowgraph" (Philco) type, the bulbs (with a special transformer) or meters for tuning correctly. The Flash-O-Graph is employed e.g. in Fada consoles in the early 1930's. The principle of neon indicators has been made also with 3 electrodes and a 4 electrode neon indicator allowed even "Silent Tuning".

See also other kind of indicators for early superhets like the Tune-A-Lite (Atwater Kent) from the inventor/manufacturer Duovac. Other radiomanufacturers had their own name for the neon indicator like this "Flash-O-Graph". Examples: Tonebeam (Atwater Kent 96-F), Tuneon (Philips), "Tuning Flasher" (Sears) or other principles like Viso-Glo, the VG-1 for Sparks Withington (Sparton) before the Magic-Eye.
