John Ambrose Fleming had the Edison Swan United Electric Company make him an experimental series of valves in 1889. THese were known as oscillation valves. Several types and sizes of a similar style were made. Filament voltage is unknown. Several of these are in the Science Museum in London and replicas have been made over the years.
