Description

This tube was initially rated at 5 Watt output, but was soon corrected at 10 Watt output. This tube was used during the wireless experiments between the stands of Idzerda and Philips at the Exhibition in Utrecht, which took place from 24 februari till 8 March 1919.

Philips printed also Ideezet on the tubes, sold by Idzerda, This up to 1924. This can be seen nicely on the pictures of the Idzerda catalogue, dated December 1919. The name Generatorlamp starts hier. A Philips Ideezet is only a Philips Ideezet, when also Ideezet is printed on the glass. Otherwise it is a Philips.
